Forté Systems™ is committed to facilitating our customers’ full compliance with the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations. The Department of Health and Human Services has adopted regulations for two National Standards – complete with deadlines – that all covered entities must abide by. The HIPAA regulations affect Forté Systems™ as a healthcare software provider, and may apply to you. Forté Systems™ is committed to doing its part to help our customers achieve compliance with the Transactions and Code Sets and the Privacy HIPAA regulations in a way that does not unduly disturb established business processes. We believe the best first step is clear and accurate communication.

Process and Timelines

Forté Systems™ fully endorses the adoption of the HIPAA mandated ANSI X12N 837, version 4010 A1 transaction standards, and we are finalizing plans to support all of our customers in the transition toward full compliance with the regulations.
